Here are some important reminders regarding inclement weather:
- Classes and labs will be held as usual unless we notify you of an adjustment through the communication channels listed below.
- All clinicals and externships are unaffected by weather and the schedule will remain unchanged unless you are contacted directly by your faculty member or director.
ECPI University Inclement Weather Communications:
If we experience less than desirable weather and you would like to be informed of campus delays or closings, you have the following options:
- Monitor local news stations for delay or closing announcements. No announcement means everything will be held as normal.
● WTVR Channel 6 or go to www.WTVR.com
● WWBT Channel 12 or go to www.NBC12.com
● WRIC Channel 8 or go to www.WRIC.com
- When possible, ECPI will also send an email and text message to those students who have elected to receive these communications. Email and text message notices will only be sent in the event of delays or closures which have been officially posted to the designated TV channels listed above.
Please do not call the campus to ask about closings or delays. If no announcement appears on the above media, everything will operate normally.
❄️ If you feel that weather conditions prevent you from safely coming to school as scheduled, you must make that decision on your own. You should communicate any absences with your instructor.
